Our Story

The founders of our company, Brian Redden and Doug Deker, had been successfully delivering world class customer service in call centers all over the world. They have worked with many of the top companies on the globe such as Citibank, United Healthcare, Walmart, Target, Sprint, Shell, American Airlines and many more. Their careers were fun, exciting and both Doug and Brian thoroughly enjoyed what they were doing. However, they wanted more.

How it all came to be…

The founders of our company, Brian Redden and Doug Deker, had been successfully delivering world class customer service in call centers all over the world. They have worked with many of the top companies on the globe such as Citibank, United Healthcare, Walmart, Target, Sprint, Shell, American Airlines and many more. Their careers were fun, exciting and both Doug and Brian thoroughly enjoyed what they were doing. However, they wanted more.

Brian and Doug wanted more control over their ability to delight their clients by taking the whole customer service approach to a whole new level. Brian and Doug wanted more control over their ability to remove barriers to great customer service. They also wanted to unleash the innovative approach to call center operations they both had developed over 25 years of experience in the business. Brian and Doug always knew running their own call center was the way to realize their desires to take customer care to the next level. To that end – Enterprise Call Center Solutions was born!

What’s in a name?

After Doug and Brian made the decision to found their call center company, it needed a name. They struggled with this for a long time because they believed that the name needed to reflect the mission and values of the company that they were so passionate about. Those values and the “eccs” mission were non-negotiable.

One Saturday, during one of the few times that Brian was not working, he was watching the first episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. In it, they introduced the new starship Enterprise. It struck Brian in many ways because it was technologically advanced, had many innovative and “game changing” features that allowed the crew to accomplish so much for humanity and was staffed with people who had a vision and passion to explore and improve their lives and the lives of humanity. Well, this was a EUREKA moment for Brian. He ran his thoughts by Doug and before he could finish, Doug said “Enterprise is PERFECT”.

The word Enterprise in our name reflects all of the vision, innovation, drive for constant improvement and passion that we have always had for delivering world class customer care.
